Savvy Navvy leads AI innovation discussion at Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Amsterdam

Savvy Navvy’s CPO, Misha Vysokovskiy, joined IEMA’s Data & Autonomous Panel at the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo 2025 in Amsterdam, sharing insights on shaping the future of smart e-navigation.

The discussion, run by the International Electric Maritime Association (IEMA), was around how digital technologies are enabling smarter navigation, efficient energy use, and operational decision-making on the water.

“It was great to join the conversation with global industry leaders and it was evident we are very much in need of innovative solutions that support electric boat manufacturers. Electric boats need electric brains! That means delivering intelligent systems that use multiple data sources to simplify and optimise the boating experience and always keep the end-users in mind,” said Misha Vysokovskiy, Chief Product Officer at Savvy Navvy.

“Our smart routing solves key challenges, factoring in tide and wind to show the real boat range in given conditions for users. We discussed technology like ours helping to overcome range anxiety - from highlighting charging stops, calculating when to recharge, or adjusting navigation for better battery efficiency being just some of the solutions we are working on.”

Earlier this year, we launched ‘Savvy Integrated’ designed to create seamless navigation solutions for marine manufacturers and suppliers worldwide, simplifying and elevating the boating experience.

Savvy Navvy’s collaboration with world-renowned Arc, setting a new standard for navigation in electric boating, was also mentioned on stage. Misha was joined by fellow panel members, Christian Fehr CEO from ctechnology, Szilárd Czibere from Monaco Yacht Club and Andrew Boswell CEO from Bluegrid.

The Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe is an industry leading event for those shaping the future of sustainable and efficient maritime technologies. Thousands of people from around the globe attended the exhibition, held 24-26 June 2025,  showcasing the latest developments driving maritime electrification and decarbonization.
