Savvy Navvy partners with Marinminds to bring Savvy Integrated to helm displays for more boaters

Savvy Integrated, Savvy Navvy's flexible navigation solution for boat builders and marine technology partners, is now part of Marinminds' Infinity Bridge™. The partnership will be revealed to guests aboard the impressive MODX 70 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, with Savvy Navvy's charts built into the helm.

A bridge built for the helm

Marinminds designs and engineers custom yacht dashboard architecture, bringing what would otherwise be a fragmented set of onboard systems together into one coherent, intuitive helm. Rather than a collection of separate marine electronics bolted together, the aim is a bridge that feels like it was designed as part of the yacht from the outset, shaped by the character of the boat and the yacht builder behind it.

The idea is simple: boaters should be able to plan a day on the water at home, and when they step onboard, their plans seamlessly sync with the boat. With Savvy Integrated now part of that architecture, MODX 70 owners and guests will find Savvy Navvy built into the Infinity Bridge™, ready to plan a route, check the tides, or review chart data for the next anchorage.

Because the integration sits at the bridge level, the route planned at home is the same one waiting at the helm. There's no separate app to open and no syncing to think about; it's simply part of the boat.

That's really the point of this kind of architecture: it's built so that different systems and applications, Savvy Navvy included, can slot in without compromising the overall experience.

Introducing the jaw-dropping MODX 70

The MODX 70 is a striking boat to launch this new partnership on. It's a technology-forward, all-electric, sailing catamaran, with foil wings that fold out to harness the wind, and an interior built almost entirely around customisation, from the layout of the sofas to the choice of fabrics and materials.

It's available in both an owner's version and a charter version, and it's backed by a five-year warranty on the structure and the foil wings, alongside a two-year warranty across the rest of the boat. For a 70ft luxury catamaran, that's a serious commitment to build quality, and it makes the boat a fitting stage to showcase what a modern, connected helm can do.

At sea, that means the helm display shows Savvy Navvy's charts in day, night, or satellite view, alongside route planning that factors in tides and weather, and searching for marinas and anchorages along the way. For a boat built around ease and comfort, having all of that already live on the bridge, rather than bolted on as an afterthought, fits the brief.

Savvy Integrated

This is also a good example of what Savvy Integrated is about more broadly. It's Savvy Navvy's platform for bringing navigation into other companies' systems, whether that's a factory-fitted display, an app, or a custom-designed dashboard architecture like Marinminds' Infinity Bridge™, and it's built to flex to whatever the boat needs. Savvy Integrated already features on Arc's all-electric performance boats, alongside partners including Avikus, the automated docking system from Hyundai, and CPAC Systems Marivue platforms.

Those are very different technologies solving very different problems, from electric performance boats to automated docking and propulsion. A 70ft luxury sailing catamaran is a different scale again, and that's rather the point: Savvy Navvy works the same way whichever helm it's on, whether that's a small day boat or a superyacht.

For boat builders and marine technology partners, that consistency is the appeal of Savvy Integrated. Rather than building bespoke navigation from scratch for every new model or display, partners can bring Savvy Navvy's charts, tides, weather and routing into their own systems, and know it'll work the same way it does for the more than three million boaters who've already downloaded the app independently.

See it at Cannes

The Cannes Yachting Festival runs from 8 to 13 September, and the Infinity Bridge™ will be revealed to guests aboard the MODX 70 throughout the show. To arrange a viewing, contact Jacco Willemsen at jacco@savvy-navvy.com.
