Sea Shanties, kite powered boats and Atlantic Challenges in the savvy news

Hello Friends,

It’s me again with another round of nautical jabber. Whether you're in warmer climates or tackling frosty docks, I hope you’re all keeping safe and well.

Today it’s raining at my house and we’re in a pretty big lockdown, but what I am grateful for is that there are many, many cool water-based adventures happening that are super fun to watch, and I’m not just talking Vendee Globe and America’s Cup...

Did anyone follow the Atlantic Campaigns challenge over the past few months? It really is quite incredible to see people physically rowing across the Atlantic. I recently did a virtual rowing challenge to row 350 km in 10 days from Amsterdam to London Tower bridge and I can tell you, it’s tough! So I have so much respect for the people who rowed non stop for over a month.
